About Michael
Michael is CT’s chief transactional and structuring attorney, and represents and oversees the representation of CT and its affiliates in all aspects of real estate law and related business transactions, including, among other things, acquisitions and dispositions of all types of commercial projects, commercial leasing, development, real estate joint ventures, and financing. During his 21-year tenure at CT, Michael has documented, negotiated, overseen and successfully closed on hundreds of real estate transactions across the country totaling several billion dollars for CT and its private and institutional partners.
Prior to joining CT in 2002, Michael worked for Paul Hastings LLP, where he practiced all aspects of real estate law, including real estate financing, loan workouts and restructurings, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing and development. Prior to joining Paul Hastings in 1994, Michael worked for the law firm of Jones Day.
Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Mary Washington University, a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas, Tyler, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Southern California, where he was Executive Notes Editor of the Major Tax Planning and Computer/Law Journal and founding member of Southern California Interdisciplinary Law Journal. Michael is a licensed member of the State Bar of California and Texas.

Michael loves time spent outdoors golfing, skiing, bicycling, and hiking, often while listening to a good book. He enjoys music of all genres, and lives in Dove Canyon with his wife Vickie.
